Stylish prefabricated homes

Nordic Homes was established in 2007 in response to long lead time and expensive regional construction.

Our idea is that prefabricated accommodation can be stylish, well finished and offer a good alternative to local remote area construction, with a significantly shorter construction period.

Typically our houses feature tall ceilings, large windows, hardwood floors, down lights throughout, big decks and first class fittings. Construction is steel floors, with timber or steel wall and roof framing, timber cladding, gyprock internal walls and a choice of cedar or aluminium windows.

Houses are delivered complete, including painting and to whatever level of specification requested. Decks and verandahs are then built on site. Our only exclusion is the connection of services at the site.

We are offering 2 and 3 bedroom houses as well as remote area hotel or camp accommodation. A 4 bedroom version is on the drawing board. We can also offer one-offs to any size (including several modules) and configuration, utilising our architect or yours.

All houses are built in Perth and are usually ready for delivery on our own trucks within 5-6 months of order (i.e. 4-5 months of local authority approvals), although we are also building on spec and usually have houses ready for earlier delivery.

All houses can be sold and relocated in the future. Removal and relocation is relatively inexpensive, so purchasing a house as an interim or medium term solution can be a viable proposition.
